Professor from USA Undergoes Artificial Disc Replacement Surgery in India

Hello,

I am Professor Brenden Whitmore from Alaska, USA. I have ruptured disc for which I have been researching on the internet for the back surgery and I found an Indian medical service provider. One of my friends told me about an experience of his neighbor who had got his artificial disc replacement surgery in India few years ago through a medical value provider who assisted them throughout the entire journey. They had an amazing experience and the outcome of the surgery was quite satisfactory. Impressed with their experience, I decided to contact them and asked for their contact details. I contacted them over the phone and an executive helped me with the necessary information for getting my surgery in India. He also asked to send my reports. After a few days, I got a call from them and a mail with the details of the hospitals and surgeons as well as the respective cost of surgery.

I carefully went through them and also had a conversation with their chief physician. He explained me in detail about the surgery, what to expect, before and after surgery, this helped me clear all my anxieties and worries regarding the surgery. I gave them my confirmation and got my surgery date fixed. They send me the medical visa invitation and also made arrangements required for my surgery in India. My brother accompanied me for this trip to India.

We received a warm welcome at the airport and then we were taken to the hospital. We had a discussion with the surgeon who clarified my doubts regarding the surgery. Now I have been in the hospital and its been been four days and I have a belt on. I am able to stand up pretty well and move around. The pain has left my legs and I feel much better. The staff here has been pretty wonderful. I hope to see some places in India. The food has been very interesting and it’s been really quite an experience. Its pretty hot now, but sometimes considering the seriousness of my health condition, I had no choice but to come here during summer in India. The doctor has been excellent, he almost everyday comes and checks on me. He answers all my questions and I am very pleased with him. It’s a lovely room and the place has been very nice. Plenty of people are present to look after me. I am grateful for the Indian medical service provider for assisting me to undergo the artificial disc replacement surgery in India.

Thank you very much.

Regards,

Prof. Brenden Whitmore,

USA.
