BAIT is a West Coast-based premium retailer of apparel, high end collectibles and footwear. BAIT has become known for bringing limited edition products under a single roof and cross selling them. Over the years, BAIT has collaborated with some of the most iconic worldwide sportswear brands, such as ASICS, New Balance, Puma, Reebok, and even adidas. While there has not been any BAIT x adidas collaborations in recent years, that is about to change. It turns out that BAIT and adidas have been collaboratively working on two brand new colorways, one of the EQT Support 93/16 and the other of the EQT Support 93/17.   It was back in 1991 when the adidas Consortium EQT range was first launched. Over the years, its popularity kept on decreasing as adidas released more and more new models, such as the NMD, but that all changed when the EQT ADV Support 910 was introduced back in June 2016. This variation of the EQT featured coated side panels, threaded seams made of Kevlar, and the use of Dyneema for the laces and a majority of the uppers. As for the EQT Support 93/16 and 93/17, these models blended the uppers of the EQT Running Support ’93 with the available cushioning technology of their respective years, i.e. 2016 and 2017.   Both the BAIT x adidas EQT Support 93/16 and 93/17 colorways have already been unveiled back to back. At first glance, the EQT Support 93/16 may seem like nothing more than a tonal “Triple White” iteration of the model, which it does appear to be. However, its uppers will actually glow green in the dark once they have absorbed enough sunlight. Comparatively, the EQT Support 93/17 iteration is actually as simple as it appears to be. Its Primeknit uppers are dressed up completely in Black, while featuring Red-colored detailing, and it is equipped with clean White-colored, full-length Boost soles.   With the exception of that special glow in the dark feature, these two colorways are somewhat contrasting opposites of each other. As of now, there is no confirmed release date for when these BAIT x adidas EQT Support 93/16 and 93/17 colorways will be making their retail debuts, so keep checking back for updates.
