No list is unequivocal but I would start to build a library by buying revenge books online. 

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas is the godfather when you plan to Buy revenge thriller. 

After 14 years of false imprisonment in the Chateau Dif, Dantes is ready to bring payback against all who wronged him. Over hundreds of pages, he builds and carries out a strategy that is mind-boggling in its viciousness and cleverness. 

Dumas’s writing is always a thrill-ride with bejewelled, swashbuckling, cheeky characters and with a fair dusting of old-fashioned romance.

Then there is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, where the revenge is by a single woman against all men, while we follow young Pip as he grows up and slowly learns about the damage caused by broken hearts and coldness. Miss Havisham is ravaged and annihilating. 

Just like those Fast-paced thrillers, Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights isn’t simply about revenge, but about love also. Still Heathcliff’s revengeful rage is something to lay eyes on, much as is his love for his lost Cathy. The vicious reverberations of cruelty echo across the generations. True Grit was a novel long before a film was made on it.    

The list will be incomplete without mentioning Carrie by Stephen King, but I have only seen the film and not read the book. Hence, I will leave that there.    

Whether these are the best or not is a matter of personal taste, definitely, they have tasted well and some are considered as classics.

If I had to pick one as the best instance of Revenge books online, it would possibly be The Count of Monte Cristo as the emphasis of the entire novel is his revenge and when the plan comes together, it is brilliant. 

The revenge is now almost 175 years old. However, revenge is always a dish that is best served cold.
